Export and import

Direct Import is the best and quickest way to start an import of a drawing and I recommend it in most cases. As far as possible, a direct import automatically produces all required information to recreate the drawing.
The second way is to use a BIM Exchange file. This file is a BIM-format standard, created by Autodesk. BIM Exchange files, in turn, consist of DXF and DWG files. With the help of the BIM Exchange function, you can download and import both drawings and models into AutoCAD without having to export to the other formats first.
DXF (a text-based drawing exchange format that is still used by almost every computer-aided drafting package) and DWG (a vector graphics format designed for technical drawings) are two standards used for exchanging technical drawings. These two formats are the native exchange formats of AutoCAD.

Toolbars are an option to add, remove, and reorganize tools. A toolbar is a special collection of tools. Toolbars are moved around on the drawing area toolbars by clicking on the drawing area toolbar and then dragging the tool bar to the desired location.

Sketching Data: Grouped into Blocks of Similar Value

I have a data set consisting of the time and stock price for different companies.
Because of the sensitivity of this data, I’m anonymizing it, so there is no identifier for each company.

I need to graph this data, so that the stock price for each company (identified by the dotted line) is grouped into blocks of similar value (as drawn below).

How can I go about doing this in R or Excel?


In Excel you can use the Array function to do the grouping. In R, you can use the cut function to do it.
